About Me

Mixed Media Arts & Papercraft Teacher

My name is Tania Ballestrin and my love of all things art and papercrafts began at a very young age. Ever since I can remember, I just wanted to create pretty things. I started making cards and scrapbooking around the time my first child was born, in 2003 and I haven’t looked back. I have been teaching in the Papercrafts Industry since 2009, both face to face and online. During that time, I have been on several Australian Design Teams, and been published in several magazines, both print and online editions. One of my great achievements, was teaching at the Kaszazz Conference on the Gold Coast in 2018. I now specialise in Art Journaling and Mixed Media and love the pure joy that comes from sharing my knowledge and the pleasure of making art with my students. The best reward, is watching the reactions, expressions and gratitude, that comes from students learning something for the first time and seeing the joy that it gives them.

My aim is to create, share and inspire!

Creating is more than just the enjoyment of making art! For me, it is about connecting with community, sharing and inspiring others, encouraging confidence and watching people grow and use their own interpretation. ~Tania B

‘Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.’ ~Thomas Merton
